Safari to the Arctic Circle

Start your adventure north of the Arctic Circle at Sallatunturin Tuvat. From here, ride your snowmobile south through the snowy wilderness of Salla towards Hautajärvi, where the Arctic Circle cuts across eastern Lapland.

At the official crossing sign, you can stand for a moment on the line that separates the Arctic from the rest of the world. We’ll then warm up at the cozy Napapiiri Café with a steaming bowl of soup before heading back.

This about 90 km safari takes approximately 5–6 hours, giving you time to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and experience the quiet magic of Lapland.
